Four Peregrine Falcons Hatch at Gulf Tower
Pittsburgh is home to at least four more peregrine falcons.
Of the five eggs at the Gulf Tower, we know four have hatched since Mother’s Day. The falcon known as Dori has been nesting there. Three of the chicks are hers. The other two were laid by Tasha, who was chased away from the tower.
Five more chicks hatched earlier this spring at the Cathedral of Learning.
