Jeff Reed Rates His Performance This Year As "Average"

Steelers Kicker Jeff Reed sat down with Joe Starkey today to discuss his year so far.  Jeff discussed his struggles on kicks over 40 yards, and how the coaches still have faith in him whenever they have an attempt under 55 yards because he makes the shorter kicks expected of him.

Reed also talked about his longer kickoffs this year, what he attributes them to, and even said he believes touchbacks are "overrated."

Jeff wrapped things up discussing Head Coach Mike Tomlin's role in motivating the kickers, as well as his desire to remain with the Steelers long-term.
