PSU’s Wisniewski Named Wuerffel Trophy Finalist
Penn State lineman and Central Catholic graduate, Stefen Wisniewski has been named one of 10 finalists for the Wuerffel Trophy.
The Wuerffel Trophy is presented to the college football player who best combines exemplary community service with athletic and academic achievement.
The other finalists joining Wisniewski are: Kyle Adams (Purdue), Ben Chappell (Indiana), Kirk Cousins (Michigan State), Greg McElory (Alabama), Chima Nwachukw (Washington State), Dominik Riley (Memphis), Chris Stewart (Notre Dame), Sam Acho (Texas) and Christian Ponder (Florida State).
Wisniewski is the Nittany Lions’ first Wuerffel Trophy finalist.
