Constables Use Black & Gold To Catch Criminals

CONNELLSVILLE (KDKA) - Two constables in Fayette County, tired of being eluded by criminals, took a new and creative approach to serving warrants Wednesday.

Rocky Younkin and Hubie Coleman say they borrowed a Steelers-themed van from Country Motors in Connellsville and rolled up to serve warrants with the Steelers fight song blaring.

Instead of running away, the people who they were looking for came out to see the van and check out the commotion.

The constables say they didn't even have to get out of the van on a few occasions.

The constables arrested 10 people during last night's warrant sweep. That's roughly double the number they normally take into custody.

However, now that their cover is blown, the two say they plan to come up with new ideas to creatively catch criminals.
