Overnight Fire Damages Home In Carnegie

CARNEGIE (KDKA) - An overnight blaze damaged a home in Carnegie.

The fire broke out around 2:30 a.m. in the 600-block of Fifth Avenue.

Officials say one person had to be taken to the hospital with smoke inhalation. A second person suffered burns to his hands.

The Red Cross is helping two adults with food and clothing as well as prescription refills after the fire.

So far there is no word on what caused the blaze.
