PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A suspect is in police custody today after an attempted armed robbery overnight in Bloomfield.

Authorities say a man entered Ritter’s Diner on Baum Boulevard around 1 a.m. and tried to rob the place.

Officials say he fled the scene.

However, officials report that police later caught up with him and arrested him.
