Car Jumps Curb, Crashes Into McMurray Store

MCMURRAY (KDKA) — A car crashed into a fitness equipment store in McMurray.

It happened just before G&G Fitness opened on Washington Road Monday morning.

“A lady was attempting to pull into a parking stall and mistook the gas pedal for the brake,” Jim Parson, of G&G Fitness, said.

The car jumped the curb, crashing into the store, coming to a skidding stop near the checkout counter. The driver was a woman in her 50’s.

The damage extended to the First National Bank next door. Everyone was okay.

The store is expected to be back in business in a few days.
