2 Dead After Crash On I-70 In Washington Co.

BUFFALO TOWNSHIP (KDKA) - A man and woman were killed in an overnight accident involving a tractor trailer and car on Interstate 70 in Washington County.

According to state police, the crash happened around 4 a.m. in the eastbound lanes near mile marker 12 in Buffalo Township.

The Washington County Coroner's Office has identified the victims as 23-year-old Kristen Miller and 24-year-old Joshua Miller. State police say they are from Normalville.

Authorities report that the Millers' Pontiac Grand Am was traveling westbound when it crossed over the center median and slid sideways into the eastbound lanes. The vehicle then struck the front bumper of a tractor trailer, which was heading east.

Both Kristen Miller and Joshua Miller were pronounced dead at the scene.

State police identify the driver of the tractor trailer as Johnny Reynolds of California, but there is no word on whether he was hurt in the collision.
