Police Ask For Help In Teacher’s Murder

BUTLER (KDKA) — State police are looking for more information into the death of a school teacher in Butler County.

Steven Russo, 48, was found shot to death in his home along Perry Highway in Lancaster Township on November 24th.

Trooper Dan Kesten tells KDKA’s Kym Gable they are looking for a pedestrian who may have been walking on State Route 19 near the Log Cabin Restaurant on the mornings of Nov. 23 and 24th.

They will not say how that person may be connected to the crime.

    What do those comments have to do with the teacher that was killed,,????? Or am I missing something?

    if they would release more information the community would be able to help more. this is a very small community who is always willingh to help each other,. i went to seneca valley and knew mr russo and he was a good teacher. release more information so we can all help
