Chili

Ingredients:
2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
1 Chopped large onion
2 Chopped cloves of garlic
2 pounds Lean ground beef
1 28-ounce Can whole tomatoes
1 cup Heinz® Ketchup (Heinz® Hot and Spicy Ketchup may be used for a zestier chili)
1 1/2 cups Beef bouillon
2 seeded, chopped Jalapeno peppers
6 tablespoons Chili powder
2 teaspoons Cumin
2 teaspoons Paprika
1 teaspoon Sugar
Salt and pepper to taste (cayenne pepper optional)
2 16-ounce Cans black beans (drained and rinsed)

Garnishes:
Shredded cheddar
Chopped red onion
Sliced avocado

Preparation:
1. In a heavy 8-quart pot, heat oil. Sauté the onion and garlic, add the ground beef and brown well.

2. Add the tomatoes, ketchup, beef bouillon, jalapeno peppers and remaining seasonings and bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce the heat and simmer on medium-low, uncovered for about 45 minutes. Add drained beans and taste for seasoning. Serve.

3. Garnish with cheese, onion and avocado.

Makes about 10 cups
