Fire Marshal Investigates Fayette Co. Trailer Fire

DUNBAR TOWNSHIP (KDKA) - Firefighters were called to a mobile home park in Fayette County when a blaze broke out there Saturday afternoon.

Officials say the fire were reported just before 2 p.m. on Oak Street at the Green Hill Trailer Court in Dunbar Township.

Firefighters say when they arrived at the mobile home it was engulfed in smoke and flames.

Authorities report that the homeowner suffered burns during the fire. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Also, officials say a dog was found dead in the burned-out home.

So far, there is no word on what sparked the fire, but the fire marshal has been called in to investigate.
