NORTH HUNTINGDON (KDKA) – North Huntingdon Police are looking for a person who snatched a woman’s purse out of her car in the Target parking lot last week.

The woman had just finished shopping on Dec. 1 around 8 p.m. when she got back into her car and put her purse on the front passenger seat.

At that time, a man opened her passenger door, grabbed the purse and took off with another man in a tan pickup truck.

The men then attempted to use the victim’s credit cards at several local stores, including the Connellsville Sheetz.

Police were able to recover surveillance photos from Sheetz and are hoping the public will be able to identify the suspects.

The woman had just purchased $500 in gift cards, which were in the stolen purse.

Police believe she may have been targeted for that reason.
