Poteat Heading To Cincinnati

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Yesterday it was Kyshoen Jarrett, today it's Jameel Poteat.

The 4-star running back announced today that instead of coming to Pitt, he'll take his talent to Cincinnati.

Poteat, the No. 15 running back in the nation according to Rivals.com, gave head coach Butch Jones and the Bearcats a verbal commitment today.

Yesterday, Jarrett, who's a 4-star cornerback, changed from Pitt to Virginia Tech.

Poteat said the coaching staff and a legit chance to play early were reasons for picking Cincinnati.

A couple of months ago, Pitt looked stocked at running back with Dion Lewis, Ray Graham, Chris Burns, Poteat
and Andre Givens. Fast forward to today and that's not the case.

Poteat is heading to Cincinnati, Burns appears to be transferring, Givens isn't likely coming because of academics and they're left with Lewis and Graham. Hopefully, Lewis doesn't leave early for the NFL Draft.
