Pittsburgh (93-7 The FAN) – Former Dallas Cowboys VP and contributor to NFL.com Gil Brandt joined the Fan Morning Show to share his thoughts on the NFL playoffs.

Brandt thinks the Steelers are good team and have a shot at the Super Bowl because of their defense despite the lack of scoring on the offensive side of the ball.

He said over the past few years the league has become so equal, that no team has a real home field advantage anymore.

Brandt is a numbers guy. And he says when you look at the numbers the Patriots are by far the best team on the field. However, Brandt does give the Steelers more than a fighting chance if they face the Patriots in the AFC Championship game.

Brandt was the VP of player personnel for the Cowboys in the 70s and he shares memories of the Steelers-Cowboys games of the past.
