Local Man Killed In Mt. Pleasant Twp. Crash

MOUNT PLEASANT TOWNSHIP (KDKA) - A Washington County man has died following a violent crash late Saturday night in Mount Pleasant Township.

According to the Washington County Coroner's Office, 26-year-old Harvey Moss III, of Washington, died of blunt force trauma.

The crash happened just before 10 p.m. on Washington Avenue at Sabo Road.

Authorities say Moss was traveling south on Washington Avenue when his Jeep crossed the center of the road after coming through a bend.

The vehicle hit an embankment after leaving the road, rolled over onto the passenger side, and then struck a tree, state police reported.

Moss was pronounced dead at the scene.
