Garbage Truck Rolls Over Embankment In Fallowfield Twp.

FALLOWFIELD TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- One person had to be rescued from a garbage truck after an accident in Fallowfield Township.

The accident happened around 11 a.m. near the intersection of Route 481 and Falcon Lane.

The garbage truck went over the embankment with two people inside. Firefighters needed to rescue one person.

The victim was taken to Mon Valley Hospital by ambulance.
