PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) – The FAN’s Steelers beat reporter Jon Burton caught up with cornerback Bryant McFadden to discuss his abdominal injury and the outlook for Saturday’s game.

McFadden said the extra days off were much needed for not only him but other players on the team.

Taking into account the importance of the match-up and the opportunity it presents, the cornerback says he is not planning to miss the game against the Baltimore Ravens.

McFadden said that tight end Todd Heap “has always been a threat,” and it will be tough to contain him as well as the other weapons that the Ravens have on offense.

McFadden thinks quarterback Joe Flacco has some similarities to Ben Roethlisberger but he is “not as slippery.”
