PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A light snow continues to affect the southwestern Pennsylvania area today and it is expected to extend through the weekend.

The snow that is fell this morning left another dusting on the ground before it turned over to flurries this afternoon.

KDKA Meteorologist Dennis Bowman says today’s high will reach 26 degrees. It will be mainly cloudy and dry across the area tonight with a low of 19.

As for the weekend, Bowman says some snow will develop on Saturday afternoon with an inch of accumulation locally and a bit more near I-80.

Bowman says football fans can expect to see snow during the Pittsburgh Steelers-Baltimore Ravens game at Heinz Field. The game time temperature will be about 30 degrees.

A little snow will affect Sunday as well, with a dusting to an inch in spots.
