Man Allegedly Assaults Troopers While Being Arrested
ARMSTRONG TOWNSHIP (KDKA) - A man was arrested for allegedly assaulting a Pennsylvania State Police Trooper early Saturday morning in Indiana County.
According to police, Steven Perez, 32, of Coral, Pa. was leaving the scene of a domestic disturbance when he crashed his vehicle on Route 422 in Armstrong Township.
While he was being arrested, Perez allegedly kicked a State Trooper in the chest and attempted to head butt another.
Perez also tried to leave the police barracks after being allowed to use the restroom.
He was then placed in the Indiana County Jail awaiting arraignment.
