Pens Hit The Lanes For Charity
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - The Pittsburgh Penguins aren't just a team made up of good hockey players. They're pretty good guys off the ice too.
Players and coaches were at the Crafton-Ingram Lanes Monday night to benefit the Make A Wish Foundation.
Members of the team got to bowl with the kids, signed autographs and posed for pictures.
It was all part of the Third Annual "Pens And Pins" bowling tournament.
Some of the Pens freely admitted that their hockey skills don't really translate to the lanes.
"It won't be to hard to beat me. I suck so far. I got to pick up my game. Second half [of the game] I will do better," Marc-Andre Fleury said.
The Penguins will be back in action on the ice Tuesday when they host the Detroit Red Wings.
