Tomlin Talks Preps Ahead Of AFC Championship Game
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - This weekend, the Steelers and the New York Jets will meet at Heinz Field with a lot on the line.
In advance of the AFC Championship game, Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin held his weekly press conference Tuesday to talk about the upcoming game.
Tomlin said the Steelers are very excited about being able to play in the game, and it will be a week full of preparations.
As for injuries, Tomlin said cornerback Bryant McFadden has an abdominal strain, but will practice through the course of the week.
Also, defensive end Aaron Smith will return to practice after being out for a lengthy period of time with an injury.
The game is set for Sunday at 6:30 p.m. In Week 15 of the regular season, the Jets beat the Steelers 22-17.
