Fatal Hill District Shooting Suspect Sought

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - Pittsburgh Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help to find an alleged killer, who police say is armed and dangerous.

Jerrell Liddell, 31, is accused of killing 24-year-old Ronald Washington and critically injuring a 20-year-old woman.

The shooting occurred this past Sunday on Lombard Street in the Hill District.

According to police, Washington and the woman had just left a friend's house prior to the shooting.

"They entered a vehicle, which was also parked in the 200-block of Lombard Street, when he was approached by Liddell and another man. From what we understand, Liddell pulled out a handgun and fired multiple shots into the vehicle from a very short distance away," Pittsburgh Police Lt. Kevin Kraus said.

The Pittsburgh Crime Stoppers number is (412)-255-8477.

Information leading to an arrest and conviction could be worth up to $1,000.
