Police Probe Castle Shannon Burglaries

CASTLE SHANNON (KDKA) — Police in one South Hills community are investigating two broad daylight burglaries on the same road.

The break-ins happened on McRoberts Road in Castle Shannon yesterday between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

According to Castle Shannon police, the burglars kicked in the front doors of the houses, taking cash and jewelry.

Police are asking anyone who may have seen any suspicious people or vehicles in the McRoberts Road area late Thursday morning or early afternoon to give them a call at 412-885-9300.

Since several other nearby communities have experienced similar crimes over the last few months, Allegheny County police are now assisting with the investigation.
