Pouncey, Scott & Ward Talk About The Win

Pittsburgh (93-7 The FAN) – Jim Colony caught up with Steelers’ center Maurkice Pouncey after the game. Pouncey injured his ankle in the game and he is very optimistic that he will be ready for the Super Bowl.

Pouncey sustained the same injury earlier in his career so he knows how to attack it.

Steelers’ left tackle Jonathan Scott told Colony he is happy to be around an organization that has a commitment to winning.

After Pouncey left the game with an ankle injury, the offensive line was not concerned. Scott said they are a “cohesive unit” and knew Doug Legursky could step in and do the job.

Jon Burton caught up with receiver Hines Ward after the game and talked about the feeling of winning another AFC Championship, when a lot of people didn’t predict them to be in this position.

Spread em out! That’s the consensus out how to attack the Steelers defense. The Jets could not spread them out because they don’t have enough quality receivers to do that. Green Bay does! The Steelers pass rush will be key if the Green Bay tries this approach. Also, hats off to the Steelers offensive line and the coaches and to Big Ben for the way that the bullied the Jets defense.. It’s poetic justice that the Super Bowl is in “Americas Teams” backyard. Dallas is going to be ROCKIN! Good luck Steelers!

Well, the Packers wont be able to stop Mendenhall from tearing them up, and Big Ben threw all over the Packers last year when they had a better defence
