Search Continues For Missing Geneva College Student

BEAVER FALLS (KDKA) -- Relatives of a missing Geneva College student are in Beaver County, searching for clues as to their loved one's whereabouts.

Devon Minor, 18, of suburban Philadelphia, hasn't been seen since late last Wednesday night, when someone saw him in a school cafeteria eating French fries.

Minor is a freshman, majoring in engineering. His roommates became worried and reported his absence to school officials late last week. He vanished, leaving his cell phone, computer, iPod and jacket in his room.

College Provost Dr. Ken Carson said the school is "incredibly concerned" about this situation.

"We are praying for [Devon's] safety, and our hope is that he will soon found to be safe," he added.

Minor's aunt, Gail Barlow, said she raised Devon.

"We're scared to death, this is very uncharacteristic," she said. "He's a loner, so we're used to him wanting to be alone, but not to this magnitude."
