Fundraiser To Be Held For Dog Rescued By Community

LAUGHLINTOWN (KDKA) – A fundraiser is being held this weekend for a runaway dog that was rescued by a group of concerned community members.

The dog’s name is Waggles.

His former owner had to give him up and he was on his way to a new home in Ligonier when he took off.

He was found weeks later, thanks to a huge community rescue effort. However, he is in need of supplies.

A fundraiser is being planned for Saturday, Feb. 5 from 7:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Ligonier County Inn in Laughlintown.

Organizers will be accepting donations in the form of cash, pet supplies, or tax deductible donations sent to the Somerset County Humane Society with the name “Waggles” in the memo area.

Your story sounded like he had a home that was taking him. Does he have a place to live. I need more info to make a donation.

What do you mean supplies? Is he sick? Is he getting shipped off to Afghanistan? This story should give more details.
