Reporting Potholes To PennDOT
The freeze/thaw cycle is starting to take its annual toll on local roads. So, now that potholes are beginning to pop up across the area, PennDOT is asking people to report them to 1-800-FIX-ROAD (1-800-349-7623).
Callers are asked to be as specific as possible when reporting the location of any of the potholes they spot. For state routes, PennDOT says callers must report the county, municipality, street name or the state route number on the small, black-and-white signs posted along the road. Officials say landmarks are also helpful to crews.
