HEMPFIELD (KDKA) – Police are trying to find a man who stole hundreds of dollars worth of scrap metal from Delesandro Excavating in Hempfield.

The incident happened on Jan. 18.

According to police, surveillance video shows an African-American man in a truck pulling up to the business on Route 136.

They are especially interested in catching this man because there have been a rash of scrap metal thefts in Westmoreland County over the last couple of months.
