The driver wasn’t going fast or nothing out of the ordinary!!! He had just pulled out from the light!!!! I just was trying to keep her calm and focused. Holy geez Ben, I am really glad that you are concerned about this girl and checking up on her but PLEASE learn how to spell and punctuate. That was painful. It’s “know her name, know she’s 15,” not “no.” And you don’t need !!!! after every sentence.

      1. Ben says:

Instead of picking on my grammar,You might want to kiss my azz!! Oya, When I text ,I don’t punctuate or spell everything correct !!! O and BTW The Word is with two S’es!!! like yourself!! Thankyou!!

      2. The Mom says:

I am her mother, and if I were you, I would keep my mouth shut.

      3. GrammarPolice says:

Ben you should text properly because I bet you have a problem with spelling and grammar in school. When I text I still spell words fully and don’t abbreviate.

and The Mom – unless we say something to the kids, nobody else will. I hope your daughter is doing ok. My experience with walking in the city is that nobody pays attention to pedestrians, and will turn whenever they want without any consideration for the fact that a lot of people walk around here.

      4. Ben says:

Get a life,Or maybe a real job!! You probably got picked on a lot in school so that’s why you do this two year old stuff on here!!! Just hid3 behind your computer and make yourself feel better about degrading people!!! I’m done with YOU!!!!

      5. GrammarPolice says:

Ben, telling someone the proper way to spell is not something someone that got picked on a lot in school does. “Two year old stuff” better explains your horrible typing and over use of !!!

I actually have a wonderful job, in a nice building, at a nice desk, making good money – all because I COULD SPELL.

      6. Ben says:

        Good for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. Robin says:

Glad to hear that she is doing better. I’m Dominic’s mother
we were shocked to hear that it was her. Saw it on the
5pm news. We were worried all night as was Dominic.
He was grateful to get a call from a family member to
know that she would be ok. Keep us informed on her

  3. Haley says:

Tell her that I hope she makes a full, fast recovery and feels better soon! I am one of her friends and I was shocked to hear that this had happened to her…tell her to stay strong and that there are many people that love her. 🙂

I am her mother and I want to thank your for coming to her rescue. She is doing well and is expected to leave the hospital by Friday. She has a fractured pelvis, a small laceration on her liver, and a bruised lung. You were her guardian angel yesterday. It is nice to see that there are still good people in this world.

There is a time and place for everything. This post was neither the time nor the place for your rude comments. Excellent grammar skills are not a priority when a child is in the hospital with life threatening injuries. Spend less time on your grammar and more time on your manners.

  9. Valerie says:

To Ben…Thank you soooo much for being kind to our girl. You are the kind of person who gives me hope, that maybe this world isn’t such a bad place.

Grammar Police…Sorry for you but I’m going to correct your paragraph. (tee hee)
You start out by saying that you have a good job, blah, blah, blah. So you were speaking in the present tense. Then your next sentence is in the past tense where you say, “all because I could spell”. Do you see your own grammar error? You aren’t supposed to change tense as you did. You “could” spell or you “can” spell. Are you trying to say that you could spell when you were interviewed for your job, but you no longer can spell correctly??
    Just curious “Mr. Perfect”.

    1. GrammarPolice says:

“Could” meaning I got the job because I was able to get through high school and college, which is in my past. Presently I have a good job in result of doing well in school. You are trying REALLY hard to read in to something that isn’t there all to try to correct me. Nice try.

  10. Ben says:

I just wanted to thankyou all for your very nice compliments! I was just doing what any normal person would do or try an do in this very hectic situation. I just hope she can make a full recovery with no problems!! God bless and Thankyou again Ben…
