Analyst: Trade Addressed The Penguins’ Needs

PENGUINS (93-7 The FAN) – Versus NHL Analyst Brian Engblom told the FAN Morning Show the Stars/Penguins trade addressed needs for both teams.

Engblom said the Penguins have been looking to add a young offensive winger for Sidney Crosby for a long time and Dallas was desperate to help their struggling defense.

He thinks both teams come out of this trade as winners.

Engblom talked about how James Neal will fill into the Penguins’ system beyond this year.

Engblom said, Dallas knew they gave up a ton to get Alex Goligoski, but he was the guy they had on the radar.
