Pair Of Bald Eagles Nesting In Crescent Township

CRESCENT TOWNSHIP (KDKA) — A pair of American Bald Eagles are nesting in Allegheny County

The eagles are building a 5-foot nest in Crescent Township.

The Pennsylvania Game Commission attributes the return of the birds to the improvements to the water quality and local environment.

The pair were here last year, but unable to have a baby.

Officials with the Game Commission hope that this year will be different.
