CARRICK (KDKA) — Police have issued a be-on-the-look-out alert for a suspect following an armed robbery in Carrick.

The incident happened late this afternoon at the Dairy Queen on Brownsville Road.

Police describe the suspect as a white male who was wearing a dark-blue hoodie, blue jeans and a Halloween mask.

Authorities also say he may have been carrying a silver handgun and got some cash before running away from the store.

There is no word on how much money was taken.
