Bullying Prevention

It’s an important issue for children and parents in our area and across the country. President Barack Obama says children should not have to accept bullying as an inevitable part of growing up. On March 10, about 150 students, parents and teachers met at the White House to discuss their experiences as well as what’s being done to stop it. The White House has also launched a new online resource for parents and teachers. For more information, visit the link below:

Guess the prez has nothing else keeping him busy. This is an issue for local school districts across the country, not the prez. Of coarse, with his lack of leadership I guess he does have time on his hands. There’s only so much golf you can fit in

Well NONAME this is just what the “PREZ” is talking about, comments made like yours that has nothing to do with the problem at hand.

Now for those of us who are on the same page I think putting children back in their own community school with communilty adults as aids would tighten the grip quick, becuse community adults have the RESPECT of the children. This would allow the teachers who come from the outside to get a fair chance at understanding each child. And also EMPOLY Unempolyed parents of the children. Just a thought from little old me, this is a win win situation.

Bullying has existed since there were people. Adults do it , how ever we call it “business”. You want your kids to stop being bullied? Tell them to stand up for themselves instead of crying to mommy or daddy. Teach them or have them taught self defense. It’s instinct to bully people, it’s called survival of the fittest. Only the strong survive.

I have a reasonably lucrative job, I supervise many others. How did I get there? I took what I wanted. I plowed through anyone not willing to stand in my way. The meek fold and never get what yet want. I promise EVERYONE who is successful on the planet, athletes, businessmen/ women/ ceo’s .. Whomever has pushed aside someone weaker than them. We call it being assertive.

I will give you there is a difference between bullying and just being tortured. Torturing is wrong, bullying is nature’s way of saying to get your sorry behind out of the way. Or teach them to stand up for themselves, fight back, be strong. The worst thing you can do to your kid is fight his battles.

You are what is wrong with today’s society. It is up to adults to do everything in their power to prevent this from happening especially in our schools. It is far more difficult to control bullying now days with the amount of cell phone use and Internet use these children have. If parents teachers etc have the attitude that “kids will be kids” then bullying would be completely out of hand. Who would prevent it? Many children don’t have the courage/capabilities to stand up for themselves or others so we need to help them along with that. How do we do that? By getting involved.
