PENN HILLS (KDKA) – The funeral for a Penn Hills teenager who was murdered earlier this week was held Saturday morning.

Teesa Williams, 17, was shot in her home on Azalea Drive on Tuesday.

The funeral service was held at the Laketon United Methodist Church on Frankstown Road at 1 p.m.

Police have arrested 16-year-old Akeem Page-Jones in connection with Williams’ death.

According to police, Page-Jones allegedly shot Williams and then set the house on fire.

He is being charged as an adult with criminal homicide, arson, reckless endangerment and possession of a firearm by a minor.

Investigators said they looked at cell phone records and found that Jones and Williams had had contact just hours before firefighters discovered her body.
