Steelers Preparing For 2011 NFL Draft

PITTSBURGH (KDKA)- The NFL owners and players are still in a labor disagreement but that isn't stopping teams from preparing for the upcoming NFL Draft.

The Pittsburgh Steelers will begin hosting draft prospects at the team's Southside complex.

Not surprisingly, the offensive line and cornerback are positions that the team appears to be focused on.

Here are some of the players that will be paying a visit to the Steelers over the next couple of weeks:

*Rodney Hudson/Florida State guard-center (he's a two-time winner of the Jacobs Blocking Trophy, given to the top offensive lineman in the ACC).

*Marcus Gilbert/Florida offensive tackle

*Curtis Brown/Texas cornerback (scheduled for a 2-day visit on March 30-31, Steelers are expected to bring in 7-8 cornerback prospects)

*Cameron Jordan/California defensive end (excellent 3-4 prospect and rated No. 3 defensive end).

*Aaron Williams/Texas cornerback (some scouts project him as a safety in the NFL).

*Brandon Harris/Miami, Fla. cornerback

*Cortez Allen/Citadel cornerback

*Taiwan Jones/Eastern Washington running back

*Phil Taylor/Baylor defensive tackle
