KOPPEL (KDKA) — A church fire in Beaver County is now under control.

Beaver County 911 tells KDKA-TV the fire happened at Queen of Heaven Parish in Koppel.

The church is located in the 6400-block of Sixth Avenue.

According to officials, the fire is now out.

The exterior of the church appears to be intact; however, the inside is reportedly gutted.

There’s no word on what may have started the fire. Officials say there was a funeral mass there earlier today.
