State Police Trying To Find Tanning Salon Victims

GREENSBURG (KDKA) -- State police have released photos of tattoos in hopes of finding more victims who were recorded by a hidden camera in a tanning salon.

Jesse Macklin, 28, of Jeannette, was charged last month with crawling into the ceiling of the Sunkissed Tanning Salon in East Huntingdon and taking videos of 73 women as they got undressed.

So far, 47 of those women have been identified, but 26 victims remain.

State police say since many of their photos remain on various pornographic websites, it's important they are aware of the situation and have an opportunity to participate in the prosecution of the man who violated them.

"We really want to make sure that we are able to reach out to all of these women that were victims because it's really important that they get to at least know that this could have happened to them and that we're doing the best we can to take the person that did this to justice and follow through the court proceedings with him," State Trooper Steve Limani said.

If you recognize one of the tattoos as your own or that of someone you know, you should contact State police in Greensburg.

Additionally, if you tanned at the Sunkissed Tanning Salon in mid-to-late 2006 and believe you could be a victim, you should also contact state police.

Police and the district attorney hope to wrap up the investigation by the end of next week.
