PA Legislative Payroll At All-Time High

PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) — A former House Democratic staffer and co-founder of Democracy Rising PA, Tim Potts, joined KDKA Radio’s Robert Mangino Monday night to discuss  Pennsylvania’s rising legislative payroll.

One example is that the executive director of the House Appropriations Committee, Edward Nolan, has a larger salary than Governor Corbett.

    typical. now the rest of us can bear the burden of the states deficit. I can’t even get into grad school at Pitt because they’re only accepting out of state students (tuition) right now

    Except they’re not the best. They suck. Evidenced by the mess we’re in. This isn’t capitalism at all. Capitalism implies a business market, goods being created and sold. This is socialism.

    i did not vote for corbett i knew he was no better than what just left office he is cutting education just so he can fill their own pockets at our childrens expense he should be impeached before he does more damage we need someone for the people of pennsylvania and its not him

    I back Corbett about 90%, but he needs to cut legislative costs, even if it is just symbolic.

    Hey now that a story! Now lets just take more money from the working citizens to even boost their incomes more!!!! Really a good story is to post all there salaries! Reps down to the janitors for the legislation!!! To really see what our taxes are wasted on!
