PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Two teachers at the Pressley Ridge Day School in Pittsburgh’s Brighton Heights neighborhood were allegedly injured by a 13-year-old male student Tuesday.

According to the 9-1-1 call, one teacher was punched in the face and the other was choked.

In a statement, school officials did confirm there was an incident, adding that they work with children with emotional and behavioral disorders and often times the police are involved.

But the school would not comment further.
