Could Michigan CB Transfer To Pitt?

PITTSBURGH (KDKA)- Could Todd Graham and the Pitt Panthers be adding a Michigan defensive back to their roster?

Michigan cornerback Cullen Christian has informed the new Michigan coaching staff that he intends on leaving the school.

If the name sounds familiar, it's because Christian is a former star defensive back from Penn Hills H.S.

As a member of Michigan's 2010 recruiting class, Christian was a four-star player and rated as the No. 8 cornerback in the country according to Rivals.com. Christian played in 11 games last season as a true freshman.

Christian chose Michigan over Pitt, Ohio State, West Virginia and UCLA.

According to the Detroit News, Christian is making this decision because of the change in head coaches (Brady Hoke replacing Rich Rodriguez).

Christian's father told the newspaper that after this semester, his son plans on returing to their home in Pittsburgh to figure out his future.

For you Pitt fans wondering if the Panthers have a shot of landing Christian, he was recruited to Michigan by current Pitt defensive backs coach Tony Gibson.
