1 Injured In Mercer Co. Hit-And-Run Pedestrian Accident

HERMITAGE (KDKA) – Police are investigating a hit-and-run pedestrian accident that left a woman injured Thursday night in Mercer County.

According to police, the incident happened in the Towne Plaza in Hermitage around 7 p.m.

The victim has been identified as Johnelle M. Houck, 33, of Hermitage.

Houck was crossing the traffic-way near the M&M Beer Distributor when she was hit by a young white male driving a newer-model sedan.

The passenger side mirror broke off in the accident and was left at the scene.

Houck was taken to UPMC Farrell Hospital with serious injuries.
