Soggy Weekend In Store For Western Pa.

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - After a one-day reprieve from wet weather, more rain is in store for western Pennsylvania.

According to KDKA-TV Meteorologist Dennis Bowman, periods of rain will be heavy at times through Friday afternoon and evening. A Flash Flood Watch is in effect from 2 p.m. until Saturday evening.

Friday's high will just reach the upper 40s.

More rain and perhaps a thunderstorm can be expected Friday night, as temperatures rise into the 50s by Saturday morning.

Periods of showers and thunderstorms are expected throughout the day Saturday with a grand total of two inches of rain or more.

A few showers are possible for Easter Sunday as well.

Saturday's high will be 72 degrees, while Sunday's high will be 65 degrees.

Everyone is being encouraged to stay alert in flood-prone areas and to never drive through a flooded road.
