NEW KENSINGTON (KDKA) — A family was evacuated because of a broken natural gas line in New Kensington.

The break happened in the 800-block of Kenneth Avenue.

It’s unclear at this point how the line broke. Peoples Gas has been notified.

The Red Cross is assisting a woman and four children.

The victims complained about difficulty breathing, but no one was taken to a local hospital.
