Lineup Changes Coming For Game 7?

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The Pittsburgh Penguins’ season will be on the line tonight when they host the Tampa Bay Lightning for Game 7.

Pittsburgh jumped out to a 3-1 series lead, but the Lightning battled back to win Games 5 and 6 to force the winner-take-all game tonight.

Fans are being encouraged to wear white to the arena to create a white-out effect.

The big screen in the Civic Arena parking lot will also be set up for fans who don’t have tickets to the game.

Head coach Dan Bylsma hinted that there could be lineup changes coming after some weaknesses were exposed over the last two games.

Many fans and analysts are calling for Eric Tangradi and Deryk Engelland to play in Game 7.

Should Pittsburgh win the game, they would play either the Washington Capitals or Philadelphia Flyers in the second round.

If Boston defeats Montreal in Game 7 of that series tonight, the Penguins would play Washington.

If Montreal prevails in Game 7, Pittsburgh would play Philadelphia.

The puck is set to drop at the CONSOL Energy Center at 8 p.m. and can be seen on Root Sports and Versus.

Lineup changes??? The return of Sidney Crosby will be tonight!

  3. Jim Jacobs says:

The Pens are done. They had their chances, but could not get it done. They failed to finish off the Lighning when they were down, and have given the momentum to the Lightning. So now the Lightning not only has the superior firepower, but the momentum to go along with the away team advantage, which the penguins have benefitted from in the series, but are subject to be victims of in a game seven at home

bench #72!!!!! he’s over the hill, can’t move, and always gives the puck away

  5. Keith Floyd says:

I’m a Pens fan in Maryland, been to many games at the Igloo and hope to go see Consol for the first time if the Pens advance to round two. Keep the faith guys and gals, Pens have demonstrated when backs are against the wall, they find a way. Fleury will be big in net tonight and carry the Pens to a hard fought 3-1 victory. We may not have Sid and Geno, but the heart is still there, get behind them, they will need a viciously loud obnoxious crowd to get the inexperienced Bolts off their game!! LETS GO PENS

  6. BJS says:

Go Pens!! I think Tangradi & Engelland should play in place of Kovalev and Niskanen. Kovalev has been in slo-motion this entire series, and has taken some bad penalties.
