2 Injured In Fayette Co. Accident

NORTH UNION TOWNSHIP (KDKA) – Two people were injured in a three-vehicle accident in Fayette County Saturday night.

According to police, the accident happened on Connellsville Street in North Union Township around 8:20 p.m.

Acie McCoy, 39, was riding an ATV on the northbound side of the road with no lights on.

A motorcycle, driven by James Crum III, 20, was also traveling north at a high rate of speed.

Crum did not see the ATV and slammed into the back of it. The impact caused both vehicles to travel into the southbound lanes, where they were struck by a GMC pickup truck.

Crum was flown to Allegheny General Hospital with major injuries.

McCoy was taken to Uniontown Hospital with a major arm injury.

The two people inside the truck were not injured.

State Police are investigating the accident and no charges have been filed at this time.

    This is totally not true. I am James’ mother. He was on the ATV which was not moving n and was not on the road!!
    Cant beleive any news reports!!
