Presley Named Player Of Month

Pittsburgh (KDKA)- Indianapolis OF Alex Presley continues to get the job done at AAA.

Presley has been named Indianapolis Indians' Player of the Month for April.

Presley hit .333 with 13 runs scored, four doubles, one triple, three home runs, 12 RBI and five stolen bases during the first month of the 2011 season.

Presley,who played in all 24 of the Tribe's games, reached base safely in 20 of the 24 games. He also recorded two seven-game hitting streaks during the month.

Overall, Presley finished with the fifth most hits and seventh best batting average in the IL over the first month of the season.
