South Side Armed Robbery Suspect Sought

SOUTH SIDE (KDKA) – Police are looking for a man who held up a clothing store on the South Side Tuesday night.

According to police, the robbery happened at GWOP Fashions on East Carson Street around 6:30 p.m.

A man wearing a blue Penn State hoodie and a white Penn State hat set aside some clothes earlier in the day.

He returned with a gun and stole $60 worth of jeans, $75 worth of t-shirts and $25 worth of shorts.

He is described as a white male standing 5 feet 10 inches tall.

    It is such a shame that the South Side is getting so bad. Constant reports of robberies, stabbings, shootings…. I am a life long resident that is heartbroken over all the crime happening here.
