Willie Parker On The Differences Between Steelers, Redskins

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) - Former Steelers Running Back Willie Parker told The Fan Morning Show on Wednesday that if it were up to him, he'd gladly don the black and gold again.

"If I had to select a team, you know that I'd come back," Parker told 93-7 The Fan. "I'd go straight back to Pittsburgh! If it were my choice, I'd come back to Pittsburgh with my boys; but you know that's not the case. It's a business and you gotta respect that business…"

When asked what it is about the Steelers that makes players want to return the Pittsburgh, Parker said everyone in the organization looks out for one another.

"The thing about the organization," Parker explained," [The Steelers have] a great organization -- the players, the coaches, we take care of each other. The coaches take care of the players and I think that the chemistry we have in Pittsburgh is just amazing."

Parker went on to say that the Redskins were never about football and, frankly, they were partying too much. "Being in Washington, ah man, they just don't -- they don't care about football. I didn't feel good from Day One there."
