Man Hits Power Lines With Ladder In Uniontown

UNIONTOWN (KDKA) — A man was injured while moving a two-story ladder in Fayette County.

This happened on Dunbar Street in Uniontown on Thursday afternoon.

The man apparently struck some power lines with his ladder. A witness tells KDKA-TV he heard a loud pop and the power went out on the street.

Uniontown police and the fire department responded to the scene.

The man was taken to Uniontown Hospital. There’s no word on his condition.

West Penn Power also restored service to the street shortly after the incident.
