Pirates Farm Report

Pittsburgh (KDKA)- The Pirates minor league system is filled with young, powerful arms. Two of those players were in action last night as we take our daily look at the Pirates farm system.

Jeff Locke, Phillip Irwin and Zack Von Rosenberg are three of the Pirates top pitching prospect.

Locke was acquired in the Nate McLouth trade with Atlanta. Von Rosenberg and Irwin are part of the Pirates recent draft classes. All three were in action yesterday.

Bradenton (High A) lost to Tampa, 6-4:
